Week of Firsts

Well, all in one week, Dominic has started crawling AND his first tooth cut through. He officially started crawling last weekend - pretty much Friday into Saturday and by Saturday night and Sunday, he was all over the place. Then yesterday into today, his first tooth cut through - bottom front, of course. Pictures and video to follow soon....

Dominic Loves The Bath

Pool Time!

Our pool is open for the season and it's been hot! Dominic LOVES the water...he kicks and splashes around. He even prefers the big pool over the smaller kiddie pool. As you can see it tires him out nicely!

Sitting Up

Dominic has been able to sit independently for about 2 weeks now, however, over this past weekend, he perfected the new skill and can sit and play with his toys really well.

Visit from Alexandra

We had a great time with the Brubakers yesterday to celebrate Memorial Day! As you can see, all I could get was an action shot because they're a pair of movers and shakers now!

Facing the World

We decided it was time for Dominic to see the world...facing forward!
Since he is constantly trying to pull himself up into a sitting position to be able to see what's going on around him, it just made sense to move him up to the "big" stroller. We took our first test spin tonight and he seemed to really like it. As you can see from the picture, while he might have out grown his infant stroller, he has not outgrown his habit of eating his lower lip :-) One day at a time, right?

Back in NY!

We did A LOT of visiting during our recent trip to NY. Here are just a couple of shots. More to come as Mommy has time to go through them all!

Pool Party

Dominic took his first dip in the pool right before we left for our trip to NY. Who better to share it with than Cousin Vincent?

6 Months!

Our little peanut is 6 months old today!!
At his check up yesterday, Dominic weighed in at a whopping 14lbs 1oz and measures 24.75 inches long.

Happy Easter!

It was a full, but great Easter Sunday....

First to church and then out to breakfast with Mommy & Daddy

Then off to ZiZi Maria and ZiZi Tommy's house to do an easter egg hunt with my cousins and have a delicious dinner!

And finally, passed out with a full belly and exhausted from all the excitement!
I even slept through the night!

Entrepeneur Baby

Yesterday was the debut of Dominic's Italian Ices. So, it's really Daddy's new venture, but I think Dominic might be able to claim that he's the boss since his name is on it!

Party Duds

This was Dominic on his way to his cousin Anthony's birthday party. Doesn't he look handsome?

Waking Daddy Up...

Dominic decided to wake Daddy up on his way into the bath one morning. Daddy wasn't so happy about it, but Mommy got some cutes pictures out of it...

Excersaucer

Daddy put together a new toy for Dominic this week. He's still figuring out all of the different parts and trying to see if ANY of it will reach into his mouth. I'm sure there are many months of enjoyment to come.

March Milestones...

In the past couple of days, Dominic has reached some new milestones. Today, he successfully rolled over from his back to his belly several times all on his own! He has also started to eat his rice cereal from his high chair like a big boy. And finally, he wore his first Yankees outfit, making Daddy very proud - opening day can't get here fast enough.

Brunch with the Brubakers

After way too long, we finally had the chance to get together with the Brubakers this weekend for brunch. Aren't they a cute couple? If you look back at their New Year's photo, you'll see how big both Lexi and Dominic have gotten since then!

More Visitors!

Auntie Ally and Auntie Jenna came to visit me and Dominic this weekend. Despite the awful weather, we had a really great time doing what we do best - eating, shopping and chatting it up!
