Last weekend, we decided to take a last minute, long weekend to Myrtle Beach. The weather wasn't great, but it was good enough to still allow us to do pretty much everything we wanted. I think that if we had decided not to leave the hotel the entire weekend, Dominic still would have been happy for two reasons -
1. He LOVES going in "ededators" (elevators) and I think he would have rode up and down in it all day long if given the chance.
2. There was a DVD player in the living room of our little villa that he could reach and he must have opened and closed the player about 300 hundred times over the weekend to "check if have any movies." Regretfully, none ever seemed to appear in there...
Even with all of that tempting fun right in our room and outside our door, we still did a few other activities to make the weekend fun - swimming (thanks to the indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool), collecting shells on the beach, visiting the Ripley's Aquarium, strolling the boardwalk, playing at the playground, shopping and of course, eating lots of seafood.
